I hope you all know about the idiom “know the ropes, learn the ropes” the people have different theories about it. Some say it means, know a subject well, know the ins and outs of it. Here the subject from a point of view is life. We all must know our life, our goals, and our passion.
Before joining university I was completely blank, my knowledge about soft skills was sifar “zero”. During this era, I looked around completely and came out with negative results about myself. I kept exploring the meaning of life I started working with different organizations. People laughed at me and I told them, It’s an investment in my future. Though I can’t see that investment, but whenever I look into my life I found it far better than the past.
I’m one of those who want to be perfect but fail in this struggle. I have been in university since 2017. I’ve learned a lot during the journey. I developed a growth mindset. It left a positive impact on me. What I experienced during this COVID_19 I had never got before. During this pandemic everything has been destroyed, where the fear always rambling overheads, I get the chance of becoming the part of some fruitful learning.
Entering in the virtual world, competing with 6500+ applicants has become the biggest achievement of my life. I got the chance at Amal Academy which is helping the youth in realizing their dreams.
Amal Academy has been working in collaboration with Standford University and PepsiCo Pakistan. During this three-month fellowship, I’ve learned a lot of new things like amal, khudi, Kam Kam aur Kam. Also, I got a beautiful experience of working in a team circle and acting as a circle leader.
Last but not least, I would like to express my gratitude to anyone working with me, Ma’am Sahar, and Arooj who helped me a lot and always appreciated my work with some constructive feedback. I also thank all my fellows and especially; Aimal, Sana,Osama and amna, their support and time.
